Atmore, Alabama’s Brandon Snider has been on an absolute tear in recent months, continually proving that he’s
amongst the best in the business when it comes to the virtually unlimited doorslammers competing in PDRA’s
Pro Extreme division. During the second round of qualifying for the PDRA Nationals in Tulsa, Snider annihilated
the standing class record with a jaw-dropping 3.486-second eighth-mile blast – the second-quickest pass ever
recorded by a suspended car. Interestingly, Snider’s Bickel-built ’69 Camaro utilizes a prototype Liberty Extreme
two-speed transmission – essentially a monstrously beefed-up version of the transmission used in Pro Stock.
