is room for the perfect oil film, the wear stops.
Each piston in each bore ends up with the absolute minimum clearance all over the skirt so the
pistons run with less secondary motion. Since
piston rock is reduced the rings stay squarer to
the bore through the entire cycle. As the rings
move less, they seal fire and control oil better,
plus they wear less and last much longer.

Manton Pushrods is proud to release
a Premium Tool steel Billet Trunnion upgrade kit
for the GM LS engine platform. It replaces both
the cage-less OEM needle bearings and stress
formed 9/16” diameter trunnions with our high
load capacity bronze bushings as well as, our ¾”
diameter maximum surface area trunnions. Our
improvement in design and engineering will provide more load disbursement area on the bottom
side of the trunnion, where the majority of stress
occurs. We have also engineered the bushing to
wrap around the outside of the rocker arm body,
which provides a very low co-efficiency of friction
when side thrust occurs between the bushing and
thrust washer (no c-clip to bushing contact can
