The New Era Racecraft Gear Drive fixes bushing and belt failure issues associated with maximum effort centrifugally blown drag race applications. Bushing problems are eliminated by increasing the Drive Flange surface area spreading the drive load. This produces a more reliable coupler and absorbs harmonics. By driving directly off the crank’ s centerline it eliminates side load commonly occurring with traditional, weak belt drive bracketry. This Gear Drive is infinitely adjustable to your desired blower RPM settings. Custom built drives can be raised and rotated, providing greater clearance, therefore reducing chassis interference issues and providing unlimited options. Precision Turbo and Engine( PTE) recently announced that the highly anticipated Pro Series CO2-specific 66mm Wastegate is now available for purchase by distributors and consumers. This new addition to Precision Turbo and Engine’ s product line is constructed from high grade, high temperature stainless steel and billet aluminum components for the best in strength, style and functionality at an affordable price. Featuring a 347 stainless investment cast valve body, this 66mm external wastegate provides consistent performance without the worry of fatigue or failure while also allowing for accurate boost control. The 66mm CO2-specific Pro Series wastegate is fully adjustable, and has three individual ports( two on the bottom can and one on the top can) for the ultimate in control. Designed specifically for use with CO2-based boost control systems, the wastegate offers quicker response time, accuracy, and durability under the high-pressure demands of CO2 actuation, when compared to standard wastegate designs. Designed with the hardcore racer and motorsports enthusiast in mind, PTE’ s 66mm Pro Series external wastegate also incorporates unique, stabilizing“ Precision Pins” which prevent the inlet and outlet flange from spinning. Internally, the 66mm CO2-specific Pro Series wastegate( PN PBO085-3500) utilizes a Nickel Chromium Alloy valve and comes complete with stainless steel inlet and outlet flanges as well as all clamps necessary for installation. Additionally, each Pro Series wastegate comes with several different 17-7 precipitation hardened springs for further adjustment of desired boost levels.
