Angie Travis was contemplating changing the paint scheme of her Top Dragster entry when she had the idea to honor the memory of her late friend, Ronnie Davis. When she presented the idea to longtime love, Jeff Pittman, he was not only onboard with the idea, he had actually already made a sketch of the design. Jeff and Angie, along with so many others, will never forget the impact Davis had on people and racing.“ He did so much for fast bracket racing. He did far more behind the scenes than people realize to promote, gather sponsors and secure places for us to race.” says Pittman.

TEAM JEGS Michael Roark( left) and teammate, Clay Coughlin, were among the happy participants in the Kentucky Big Bucks Jr. Dragster Bonanza, a high-dollar event designated for up-and-coming stars of the sport. The JEGS team brought no less than four cars to participate in the inaugural event at I-64 Motorplex, which promises to grow larger in the coming years.
