Platinum Series Pistons
Forged from the preferred 2618 alloy and precision machined to exacting tolerances— including precise ring groove-to-cylinder-wall perpendicularity for optimum sealing. Available in hollow dome( with a compression ratio in excess of 16:1), mini dome, flat top or inverted dome configurations in all popular bore sizes.
Forged Steel Rods
Newly designed for 2016, Manley’ s Pro Series I-Beam rods are an ideal balance of high strength at the lightest possible weight and can easily handle 1,600 + horsepower. They are forged from 4340 aircraft quality degassed material, fully machined, and come with premium ARP 2000 ® cap screws. Premium grade H-beam rods also available.
Forged Steel Cranks
Made from superior 4340 non-twist forgings, Manley’ s big block Chevy cranks are available in all popular strokes from 4.000” to 4.750”. They are heat-treated, stress relieved, shot peened, nitride and 100 % magnafluxed. They’ re designed for internal balancing and they have large radius journals( narrowed bearing required).
Rotating Assemblies
Manley offers economical packages that are ideal for“ Super” categories and E. T. Brackets. Select the factory-matched combination that best suits your application. Includes Platinum Series pistons, 4340 H-beam rods, 4340 forged steel crank, Total Seal piston rings and Clevite high performance rod and main bearings.
Titanium & Steel Valves
Special titanium valve packages have been developed for popular big block cylinder heads, including GM’ s DRCE, Brodix SR20, Dart Pro 1 ® and 320 / 360, Pontiac and the Dart Big Chief. Make a good thing even better with these lightweight, extra-durable valves. Of course, a wide array of stainless steel valves are also available.
NexTek Valve Springs
Recognized as the most durable springs on the market by many top engine builders, they hold loads exceptionally well. New lightweight Dual Design spring packages replace triples in many applications, and their compact design allows engines to rev higher with improved valve train control.
Lightweight Retainers
Manley’ s FEA-designed titanium retainers improve RPM potential. For those who prefer the durability of steel— but don’ t want the weight penalty— Manley’ s exclusive TensileMax steel retainers that have a hardness of Rc 52-54 but weigh within a few grams of titanium. H-13 Tool Steel also available.
One-Piece Pushrods
Get the optimum balance of strength and light weight with Manley’ s one-piece 4130 swedged-end pushrods. Choose between 3 / 8 " x. 080 " wall, 3 / 8 " x. 120 " wall and 7 / 16 " x. 165 " wall thickness in. 025 " length increments. Meticulously formed with excellent concentricity and exact radii ends.
Important Components
Exact installed heights are ensured through use of Manley’ s precision-machined valve locks, which are available in steel and titanium and with +. 050, standard and-. 050 " standard or Bead- Loc™ tangs. Shims, O. D. Spring Cups and I. D. Spring Locators complete the set-up package.
