Rely on Manley!
Manley Valve Train Components Let You Achieve Optimum
Performance While Improving An Engine’s Long Term Reliability.
We know that weight is the enemy in drag
racing. But when it comes to your valve train it is
especially important. Lighter components allow
the engine to RPM quicker and achieve higher
RPM levels.
Lighter
Valves
Manley one-piece
forged titanium valves
are a great source of
weight savings. For
those wanting the
ultimate in weight
reduction, Manley
offers hollow-stem
intake valves. A “thin
film” seat face coating
(choose between
CrN and NANO)
provides improved
lubricity, extra wear
resistance, and a
better seal.
Of course, Manley
also has the industry’s
widest selection of one-piece
stainless steel valves, with five models to
choose from. These range from the Budget
Performance and Street series (including
the Manley-developed reduced stem shape)
Proflo to Severe Duty® and Extreme Duty
models for high temperature reliability.

THE
Lighter Springs
Included in our wide selection of NexTek®
valve springs are compact dual spring packages
that replace heavier and larger triple springs.
they have natural frequency and employ smaller
diameter retainers for even more weight savings.
And like all other NexTek® springs they have
amazing load retention properties. And as an
added bonus, they’re backed by Manley’s NHRA
Major Sponsorship contingency program.
Lighter Retainers
Retainers are another area where Manley
has pared weight to improve RPM potential. In
addition to FEA-developed titanium retainers,
Manley offers TensileMax steel retainers that
are nearly as light as standard titanium retainers
—but much harder (Rc 52-54) for improved wear.
Special tool steel retainers (Rc 56) are one-third
lighter than standard 10° steel retainers.
Stronger Pushrods
With a choice of three diameters (5/16",
3/8", 7/16") and three wall thicknesses (.080",
.125", .165") you can get sturdy
