THINK PINK Hickory, Kentucky’s Larry Hill stands proudly alongside his ‘70 Plymouth Barracuda, a car he’s owned and driven since buying it off his neighbor in 1980. He eventually built it up to run the A/SA class in Stock Eliminator, but not before having a little fun with the car on the street. “In fact, my wife used it to take my son, who’s now 41, to swimming lessons before he started kindergarten,” says Hill, who also owns two Dodge trucks. Hill races his ‘Cuda at NHRA races around the eastern U.S., wheeling the 440 Six-Pack-powered entry to a best performance of 9.79 at 132 mph at Pennsylvania’s Maple Grove Raceway in 2016. The ‘Cuda will soon be replaced by a ‘15 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
