CHARGING FORWARD: Among the major announcements at the PRI Show was the
official unveiling of a new crate engine program by longtime partners Edelbrock
Performance and Pat Musi Racing Engines. NHRA announcer Brian Lohnes hosted
a Q&A with Edelbrock CEO Don Barry and director of engineering Rick Roberts,
as well as Pat Musi and his daughter Lizzy. Edelbrock also announced that it will
continue as a primary sponsor on Lizzy’s PDRA Pro Nitrous entry.

ELITE SQUAD
It was announced at the PRI Show that Elite Motorsports will field three cars
in the 2019 E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Series with drivers Erica Enders,
Alex Laughlin and Steve Matusek. Present at the announcement were Jake
Hairston, Mark Ingersoll, Modern Racing’s Justin Elkes, Enders, Richard
Freeman, Matusek and Laughlin.
