■ The Phenom DS, 2-layer suit
blends European styling with
Made in the USA craftsmanship to
achieve a stylish, comfortable suit.
Hand-crafted from lightweight sa-
teen Nomex® the Phenom DS is
both FIA homologated, and certi-
fied to the SFI 3.2-A/5 specifica-
tion. This allows the suit to be used
in more series than conventional
FIA homologated, or SFI certified
only suits. The Impact Phenom DS
also features V-stitch quilting for
exceptional thermal performance;
a 180 degree belt, and inset pockets
for superior comfort!
Phenom SS Helmet
The Phenom SS helmet line is a re-
sult of over 40 years of research and
development experience, including
wind tunnel testing. The new range
was designed to meet the require-
ments of the new FIA 8859-2015
& the New Snell SA2015 ratings.
Using a proprietary Carbon-Kevlar
composition, the shells offer greater
strength at a lighter weight than
helmets manufactured from tra-
ditional fiberglass composites. The

helmets have also been wind-tun-
nel tested to maximize exterior vent
placement and flow, while reduc-
ing buffeting in open cockpit ap-
plications. Impact also introduces
a new size: Medium/Large. This
M/L size takes advantage of using
the smaller shell which is lighter
and more compact.
The Phenom SS features a car-
bon-Kevlar/fiberglass construction.
It includes a wide, peripheral eye
opening that can be used for open
wheel or closed cockpit driving.
Multiple exterior vents increase
circulation to a redesigned interior.
The interior has channels which
not only cool the driver, but has ad-
ditional channels which route air
towards the shield, which reduces
the chance of shield fogging. The
Phenom SS has removable, wash-
able padding that can be reposi-
tioned for a comfortable fit. All
interior seams have been removed
from areas where greater pressure
is exerted on the head. The Phenom
SS has been designed to accommo-
date a drink tube and an intercom
system. Available in flat black only,
sizes XS to XXL (new size M/L).
The Phenom SS has Hans clips pre-
installed, which can easily be re-
moved and replaced with the FHR
post of your choice. FIA 8859-2015
(with Hans posts installed) and
Snell SA2015 approved (regard-
less of FHR posts installed).

oped for both big block and small
block Chevys, they’re perfect for
race engines that need a cam-sync
signal for EFI systems but don’t
have room for a standard distribu-
tor because of inadequate firewall
clearance or bulky intake setups.
MSD Pro-Billet Front Drive Dis-
tributors feature an adjustable
Hall Effect sync pickup with a
built-in LED for easy adjustments,
an extra-wide 9mm belt driven by
a pulley on the camshaft, and a
band-clamp mount for fast, easy
rotor-phasing. They come com-
plete with a billet-aluminum
bracket and lower housing, a billet
distributor head, and a new gear
for the camshaft.

DRAGSTER SPINDLES
WITH TOW LOOPS
■ Strange Engineering continues to
improve and expand its extensive
product line with the introduction
of its new Steel Dragster spindles
with tow loops.
The new Strange Engineering
dragster spindles with tow loops are
machined from billet Chrome Moly
material. After heat treat, the spin-
dles are finish ground to exacting
standards before the bronze bush-
ings are installed and align honed.
The lightweight Strange spindle
will accept any Anglia style drag-
ster wheel. The spindle kit also in-
cludes kingpins, steering arms and
