Powermaster Performance now offers a
compact and powerful alternator that is ideal
for drag cars. The new XS 100mm Denso-style
Alternator weighs in at just 6.4 pounds and
delivers 75+ amps at higher rpm. For racers
running 16-volt batteries, the XS Volt features
a unique Voltage Control System that allows
the voltage output to be adjusted from 13.5-
18.5. This feature will help racers keep their
electronics at full operating voltage, which is
especially important for the ignition and fuel
pump. Adjustments are made through an eas-
ily accessible potentiometer and this new unit
is a bolt-in upgrade for the proven 93mm XS
Volt Powermaster. The 100mm Denso-style
housing is exclusive to Powermaster and will
mount directly in place of the original 93mm
model. The Alternator produces 35+ amps at
idle with a peak of 75+ amps making it perfect
for many drag racing applications.
Racing Engine Technologies Cylinder

direct racing experience, RET’s custom-port-
ed, 200cc iron or aluminum cylinder heads
provide significant performance advantages

power, the Ram single iron disc clutches are
the ideal choice. Custom-built units are avail-
able for most small- and big-block vehicles with
base static pressures beginning at 150 pounds
for higher rpm small blocks and up to 1,800
pounds for larger cubic-inch, lower rpm motors.
Counterweighted levers are used for clutchless
transmission applications, while standard levers
are for full shifting vehicles. We custom tailor
these units for yourvehicle. Our billet aluminum
pressure ring features a 7075 T-6 blank for ex-
treme service life and strength, and segmented
steel inserts to allow for expansion and contrac-
tion of the pressure ring under severe duty loads.
These inserts stay flatter and are serviceable
in the field without returning the unit to Ram.
