FIRST TO THE FIFTIES Virginia native Randy Weatherford charges off the starting line in his new centrifugal supercharged WS Construction ‘19 Camaro to kick off qualifying at the Brian Olson Memorial PDRA World Finals. Later in the day, the former Pro Nitrous racer became the first Pro Boost driver to dip into the 3.50-second zone with his 3.597 at 209.14 mph lap in the Steve Petty-tuned entry. Weatherford went on to his second consecutive final round, falling to fellow Pro Boost newcomer Mike DiDomenico.
