Only a narrow patch of Mickey Thompson rubber keeps Jeff Miller ’ s infamous “ Bumblebee ” Camaro connected to the equally notorious South Georgia Motorsports Park eighth-mile strip as the South Carolina driver goes into a massive wheelstand during the opening qualifying session at Sweet 16 3.0 . Miller rebounded later in the weekend , though , as he took his screw-blown entry to the No . 2 spot with a 3.792 at 198.66 . The Bumblebee is tuned by Miller ’ s son , Patrick , a 2019 DI 30 Under 30 honoree .
