Despite Jerico Balduf ’ s best efforts to correct his Batman-themed ‘ 69 Chevelle , the Florida native collides with truck and tractor puller turned Pro Mod racer Stan Shelton on a test pass at the U . S . Street Nationals . Balduf experienced an oil line failure almost immediately after launching , leading to the unfortunate incident . Damage was limited to mostly cosmetic issues for both drivers , with Shelton patching up his Culp Lumber Mustang and Balduf repurposing the front end clip from his other car , an NHRA-legal ‘ 69 Chevelle . Shelton and Balduf ended up qualifying No . 20 and 21 , respectively , in the 38-car Outlaw Pro Mod qualifying order .
