It took some time to get Clint Satterfield on board , but he ’ s eager to drive a manually shifted car for the first time in his NHRA Pro Mod career .
Bob [ Gardner , crew chief ] says we ’ ll be able to figure it out . I ’ m fine with it now . It ’ s a hard pill to swallow doing after doing something your entire life and now you have to do something different , but we ’ ll get it . In the end , it ’ s all going to make us better drivers .

It will have Satterfield working hard in the offseason , but he ’ s determined to become a great driver with a manual shifter . It has him motivated and one goal remains in mind for him .
“ I want a world championship . That ’ s what we ’ re striving for . This year , it ’ s going to be an all-out assault on the championship , I assure you . I ’ ll figure it out .”
