As lifelong racers , Leah Pruett and Tony Stewart are veritable experts in their chosen motorsports . Pruett is a professional drag racer with experience in everything from Factory Stock Showdown to Nostalgia Funny Car and Top Fuel . Stewart is an icon in the circle track world , with championships as a driver in NASCAR , IndyCar , USAC Sprint Cars and more . The two racers started dating during the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020 , and since then , they ’ ve immersed themselves in each other ’ s racing worlds , with Stewart going as far as making passes in Pruett ’ s Top Fuel dragster .
