J . C . Goodacre roasts the slicks in the “ Crazy Canuck ” nostalgia front-engine dragster during Grand Bend Motorplex ’ s Thunder By The Beach event over Labor Day weekend . Photographer Brennan Shortall strapped one of his Nikon cameras to the roll cage to capture this shot , showing just about everything Goodacre sees as he steers the methanol-burning , supercharged dragster down the track . The Thunder By The Beach race featured a wide variety of race cars , including Pro Mods , Top Dragsters , and an A / Fuel dragster .
