A PDRA team member works to extinguish a fiery blaze that erupted shortly after longtime Pro Nitrous racer John DeCerbo launched on a test pass at the PDRA Summer Shootout presented by Ty- Drive . An apparent fuel leak caused DeCerbo to lose traction in his Reher-Morrison-powered DeCerbo Construction ‘ 68 Camaro , sending him into the retaining wall . The crash started a dramatic fire that did some serious damage to DeCerbo ’ s immaculate car . Fortunately , DeCerbo wasn ’ t injured in the incident .
