Flames and smoke fill the night sky as Chris Darnell warms up the legendary “ Shockwave ” jet semi truck for an exhibition pass at the 50th annual Snowbird Outlaw Nationals . With three huge J34-48 Pratt & Whitney jet engines , the truck makes around 36,000 horsepower and 21,000 pounds of thrust to power it down the racetrack . Along with Darnell and Shockwave , Bradenton Motorsports Park brought in Bob Motz and his infamous jet Kenworth and Jerry McCart and his “ Homewrecker ” jet truck for a rare three-truck jet show to add to the headlining 50-car Pro Mod attraction .
