Over the last few years since his lifechanging fire at Lights Out 6 in 2015 , the story of Lyle Barnett has focused on that devastating moment and his incredible recovery . But this season , Barnett has started to change the narrative to one of talent and success . He turned around a lackluster NHRA Pro Mod rookie season by winning two races to close out the year , all while adding to his already substantial fan base .
