■ Matt Deitsch Jr . pulls off his fire jacket after an eighth-mile pass in his Musi-powered ‘ 69 Camaro at the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Challenge , showing off a unique panther shirt underneath . Deitsch was one of the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association regulars who made the trip north to Empire Dragway for the series ’ first-ever visit to the New York track . The event was so popular with fans and racers alike that the series will return to Empire twice in 2022 . Deitsch , who won the 2020 NEOPMA season finale , ended up finishing fifth in the 2021 points standings after adding more late-round finishes and recording career-best numbers .
