Canada ’ s PMRA partners with NEOPMA By Nate Van Wagnen
The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association ( NEOPMA ) will have new Canadian members attending at least a couple of their races this season , as Canada ’ s Pro Modified Racing Association ( PMRA ) announced a new marketing partnership with NEOPMA over the offseason . The two self-governing organizations will work together to generate interest and participation in the NEOP- MA ’ s two races at Empire Dragway on June 17-18 and August 5-6 .
“ Our groups have worked together successfully in the past ,” said John Mazzorana , NEOPMA founder , referencing the Superchargers Showdown “ International Pro Mod Challenge ” at Maryland International Raceway in 2013 .
The new partnership marks a return of sorts for the PMRA and its director of operations , Bruce Mehlenbacher .
“ We have been thinking about a return for a while and patiently waiting for the right opportunity ,” Mehlenbacher said . “ It is our intent
