Formerly driven by Slavens in its maiden voyage just a couple months before he died of COVID complications , the Wolverine II and its crew are paying tribute to Slavens in a fitting way : continuing Slavens ’ quest for success in Mid-West Drag Racing Series Stroud Safety Pro Mod . Werdehausen qualified No . 12 and managed to reach the semifinals at Tulsa .
