In one of the wildest scenes to happen on the PDRA tour this season , Billy “ The Kid ” Albert gets sideways and crosses directly in front of Fredy Scriba during the opening round of Pro Nitrous qualifying at the PDRA Northern Nationals . Albert ended up crashing into the right-hand wall before spinning out and coming to a stop . Meanwhile , Scriba managed to avoid hitting Albert , stopped his “ Sorcerer ” ‘ 69 Camaro , jumped out of the car , and ran at a full sprint – in firesuit and all – to Albert ’ s car to shut off the power and check on him . Albert escaped without serious injuries , and while he didn ’ t make it back out for the World Finals , the veteran engine builder will be back in action soon .
