CADENCE SOUCEK
McGee , who competes in Afco Super Street presented by Menscer Motorsports , graduated from Northside Christian Academy with honors and a 5.0 GPA . McGee is also a graduate of the PDRA Jr . Dragster program , as he wrapped up his Pro Jr . Dragster career last season . His best season came in 2019 when he won the North vs . South Shootout at Maryland International Raceway and finished third in points . Starting this fall , he ’ ll attend Misericordia University in Pennsylvania to study accounting and play volleyball . The Pelion , South Carolina-based driver also plans to continue racing his nitrous-assisted ’ 85 Mustang in Super Street .
Logan , a Pro Jr . Dragster standout , graduated from Lloyd C . Bird High School in Chesterfield , Virginia , where she was in the top 10 percent of her graduating class with a 3.95 GPA . As the 2018 PDRA Jr . Dragster Driver of the Year , she ’ s won numerous PDRA races , as well as IHRA and NHRA events . A member of the National Honors Society , she received the Dean ’ s Scholarship and the Chesterfield Youth Softball Scholarship , among other awards and scholarships . She plans to attend Longwood University as a student in the Honors College studying special education .
Powers , also known as “ CP2 ” or “ Little C ,” is the son of 2021 Liberty ’ s Gears Extreme Pro Stock world champion Chris Powers , as well as a former Pro Jr . Dragster driver . He graduated with honors from both Boiling Springs High School in Boiling Springs , Pennsylvania , and Cumberland Perry Area Career & Technical Center in Mechanicsburg , Pennsylvania . He continues his employment with CR Powers HVAC and is also the manager of Powers Properties . His duties on his father ’ s Pro Stocker include working on the clutch and doing routine maintenance between races . He also aspires to one day drive the Sonny ’ s-powered Mountain Motor Pro Stock car .
Soucek graduated from Rittman High School , where the National Honors Honor Society member had a 4.0 GPA . She lettered all four years in track , going as far as the Ohio Division 3 regionals for multiple sprinting events . On the dragstrip , she ’ s won in Jr . Dragster classes at eight different tracks , including Summit Motorsports Park , where she has numerous top five points finishes . The radial racing fan enjoys going to Disney World , especially with the McMath family . This is her last season in Jr . Dragsters before moving up to a ’ 70 Nova next year . She ’ ll study law at the University of Akron .

CHASE HANCOCK

Hancock , the son of Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous driver Dane Wood and wife Tiffany Wood , graduated from Princeton Senior High School in May . A former Jr . Dragster driver , he recently moved up to a big dragster . Hancock plans to continue his basketball career in college . He currently has an offer from Greensboro but is chasing further offers .

CONNOR GLASER

Glaser , who has competed in the PDRA Jr . Dragster classes , graduated from DeSales High School in Louisville , Kentucky . After Jr . Dragsters , he moved up to a dragster and just recently ran his first race in a door car , a ’ 68 Camaro . Later this year , he plans to make his Top Sportsman debut driving a Firebird previously driven by his father , Aaron Glaser . Rather than attend college in the fall , Glaser is focused on his upstart new business , Derby City Calibration , where he calibrates vehicles .

ETHAN PILOTE

Pilote , who has competed in Pro Jr . Dragster , graduated from Canisius High School in Buffalo , New York . He was successful in all stages of his Jr . Dragster career , and he ’ s now starting to see success on his new drag snowmobile . He ’ s also a crew member on his grandfather Gary Grahner ’ s ’ 63 Corvette , which competes in MagnaFuel Top Sportsman presented by Corbin ’ s RV . His next move is studying finance at Xavier University in Cincinnati , Ohio .
