Caruso , a third-generation drag racer , earned her business administration degree from SUNY Empire State College prior to becoming only the second woman to race

In addition to working for Red Tide , Caruso is a customer , wearing their SFI-15 custom nomex racing suit during NHRA competition . The product line was recently launched , continuing their mission of providing the products racers need .

Company owner and fellow racer Josh Minson has worked with racers for years . He sees Caruso ’ s hiring as another way of providing the best possible customer service , even when her schedule , like his , puts her on the road a significant portion of the year .

“ I do the same thing being a racer myself ,” he said . “ I ’ m always on the road , if not more than at least as much as Camrie . She ’ s on the Pro Stock side and I ’ m on the no-prep and drag radial side of racing . There are times we ’ ll both be out of the office racing . It all fits . I ’ m a racer , she ’ s a racer , we ’ re all racers selling products to racers .”
