It was there in his nitro Funny Car debut that Prock raced to victory at Bradenton Motorsports Park , taking home the historic win .

Prock picked up right where he left off in February , and in March at the 55th Amalie Oil NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville , Raceway , he earned No . 1 honors in the “ Prock Rocket ” during round one and held on to the top spot during Saturday ’ s qualifying . After a strong showing on race day , Prock emerged as the runner-up at the Gatornationals in his Cornwell Tools Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car , landing him as a PEAK PERFORMER .
