COLLABORATIVE SPIRIT
A multi-talented team of individuals and groups came together to make the PRO Superstar Shootout a reality . The Professional Racers Owners Organization team included President Alan Johnson , Vice President Chad Head , Administrator Michelle Domagala , and board members like Richard Freeman , Scott “ Woody ” Woodruff , Paul Lee , Bob Tasca III , and Steve Torrence . The Drag Illustrated effort was led by DI Founder and Editorial Director Wes Buck and COO and Design / Production Director Mike Carpenter .
FloRacing came on board as the official livestreaming partner . The first two sponsors to sign on were title sponsor SCAG Power Equipment led by Randy Gloede and presenting sponsor Johnson ’ s Horsepowered Garage led by Jason Johnson . DI

SAFETY TAKES FLIGHT WITH AEROMED
Fortunately , the PRO Superstar Shootout was completed without major incidents , but event officials were prepared for the worst-case scenarios . That included bringing in Tampa General Hospital ’ s Aeromed program to provide a fully staffed aeromedical helicopter . Equipped with the most advanced life support equipment , the Aeromed helicopter was stationed at the top end throughout the event , from the start of testing on Tuesday through the final rounds on Saturday night .
The lineup of pilots , flight nurses , and representatives included Scott Thompson , Danielle
Fuller , Donny Richardson , Auri Miller , Megan Diaz , Lorenzo Gianetti , James Huston , Renee Tavakoli , Noah Connell , and John Visokay . The Aeromed team supplemented the NMCA Fire / Rescue team , the Manatee County EMS team , and the Manatee County Search & Rescue team . DI
