In a race between past World Series of Pro Mod winners , Spencer Hyde in his screw-blown “ Jack & The Green Stock ” ‘ 69 Camaro leads Mike Bowman in his ProCharger-boosted ‘ 69 Chevelle down the track in one of Friday ’ s three qualifying sessions at the Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod presented by Johnson ’ s Horsepowered Garage and J & A Service . Bowman , who won the first-ever WSOPM at Bandimere Speedway outside Denver in 2017 , missed the field in 2023 but came back with a vengeance this year . Like Hyde did in 2023 , Bowman qualified No . 32 with a run that would ’ ve put him in the No . 19 spot last year . Hyde also stepped up , qualifying No . 6 with an E . T . that would ’ ve put him No . 2 by just one thousandth in the 2023 field .
