Musi started racing Jr . Dragsters when she was eight years old . She later moved up to Top Sportsman , which prepared her for her PDRA Pro Nitrous debut in 2014 . Musi ’ s stardom reached a new level when she joined the cast of Discovery ’ s Street Outlaws : No Prep Kings series . She became the first woman to win an NPK race , as well as the first driver to win three consecutive races in the nationally touring series . Musi earned nine career event wins during her time in NPK competition , most recently reaching the final round at Empire Dragway in early May . Musi ranks third on NPK ’ s all-time win lists for round wins ( 136 ), Invitational final rounds ( 12 ), and Invitational wins ( 7 ).
In April 2023 , Musi was diagnosed with triple-negative stage 4 breast cancer , which spread to her lymph nodes and liver . Through her on-track efforts and honest updates about her off-track battle with cancer , Musi inspired many and raised awareness .
