After just missing the WS Construction Pro Boost presented by P2 Contracting and Ty-Drive field at Virginia , Todd Tutterow bounced back at Norwalk in Justin Smith ’ s screw-blown Quik Fuel ’ 69 Camaro . He qualified No . 1 , then rode a string of 3.60s to reach the final . Opponent Marcus Birt went red on a 3.661 pass , while Tutterow set low E . T . of the event with his 3.620 to get his second win in three races . Former Pro 632 driver Daryl Stewart used a holeshot advantage and a 4.138 in his Kaase-powered Chassis Engineering ’ 12 Camaro to beat Chris Powers ’ 4.12 in the final to earn his first win in the class . Steding in his rootsblown P2 Contracting ’ 24 Camaro set low E . T . of race day with his 4.071 in the semis , then coasted to the win when Weddle couldn ’ t make it back for the final . Weddle qualified on top by three hundredths , but wounded the bullet in his screw-blown ’ 68 Camaro while beating Chris Tuten in the semis . Tuten had a careerbest weekend in his turbocharged ’ 87 Mustang , qualifying fourth and making three great passes on race day . |
