WHATEVER IT TAKES Surviving a week of drag-and-drive competitions like Sick Summer can push both car and driver to their limits . Fortunately , Alex Taylor and her father , Dennis Taylor , are willing to do whatever it takes to reach the final day , even if that means major engine repairs in the pits or a random parking lot . This effort resulted in Alex ’ s long-awaited first Gear Vendors guitar award .
