Drag IllustrateD Founder and Editorial Director Wes Buck addresses the crowd that assembled at Bradenton Motorsports Park to witness the inaugural PRO Superstar Shootout , which drew the biggest names in NHRA Top Fuel , Funny Car , and Pro Stock to Bradenton . Some fans were drag racing lifers , while many others experienced nitro for the first time .

THE SHADOW Fan-favorite driver Stevie “ Fast ” Jackson rides the wheelie bars on an aggressive pass in his screw-blown Motion Raceworks “ Shadow 3.0 ” at the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals . This iteration of the Shadow has done a little bit of everything , from NHRA and outlaw Pro Mod to Radial vs . the World racing and doing burnouts at Cleetus McFarland ’ s Freedom Factory .
