After the MWDRS season wrapped up , Micke continued that performance level by qualifying No . 1 and reaching the semifinals at the first race of the inaugural Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J & A Service , the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals at Bradenton .

The 2024 season was Micke ’ s first time running the full MWDRS schedule , and he wasted no time making an impression . Competing against some of the toughest Pro Mod racers in the sport , Micke claimed victories at Gateway Motorsports Park and U . S . 131 Motorsports Park in Michigan . His performance at U . S . 131 was particularly memorable , as he set the MWDRS elapsed time and speed records with a blistering 3.556-second pass at 229.94 MPH .

“ There ’ s a lot of good cars over here , good competition ,” Micke said , reflecting on his championship campaign . “ To be able to win a championship and actually miss a race ? That doesn ’ t happen very often . It ’ s just a testament to our season . I joked with the guys that we probably should retire now .”
