JIMMY HART NAMED GRAND MARSHAL
In the days leading up to the World Series of Pro Mod, event officials announced Hulk Hogan’ s Real American Beer as the Official Beer of the WSOPM. The quickly growing brand provided beer to guests at the Strange Engineering Racer Welcome Party, while fans had the opportunity to buy the beer at BMP’ s concessions stands. The partnership – Real American Beer’ s first foray into motorsports – marked a major milestone for the WSOPM as it continues to grow and attract support from outside the drag racing industry.

Though Hogan himself wasn’ t able to attend the race, the brand was well-represented. Hogan’ s son, Nick Hogan, and wife Tana Lea came out to the track along with Director of Sales Jack Sears. Jimmy Hart, known to wrestling fans as“ The Mouth of the South,” was on site meeting fans at the Real American Beer booth on the midway. Declared by many to be one of the greatest managers in professional wrestling history, Hart managed some of the biggest names in the sport, including Hogan. He served as the grand marshal at the WSOPM, even taking to the starting line to flip the starter’ s switch for the first pair of Pro Mods.— NATE VAN WAGNEN DI
