> ALEX LAUGHLIN but Cole says they’ re now expanding deeper into ProCharger and turbo setups.
“ We do it all in-house— machining, wiring, engine builds, tuning, you name it,” says Pesz.“ A lot of people think we’ re just an engine shop. We can wire cars, set your converter spacing and set up your ratios, and tune your chassis. We’ re pretty much the total package.”
One of the biggest highlights of the DIWS came from PJS customer Alex Laughlin, who qualified No. 7 at the WSOPM with a 3.601.
“ I think Alex is really the star of PJS right now,” Cole says.“ I know he was really happy to finally see those results. For them to go out there and do that … my dad and I don’ t care if it’ s me, him, Alex, or whoever— as long as it’ s got a PJS powerplant in it, we want it to win.”
Looking ahead, Cole has announced that he’ ll be racing in the Speed Promotions series( formerly No Prep Kings), while Brandon focuses on small-tire N / T events and keeping the PJS business operations moving full speed. And as for returning to the Winter Series?
“ Yes, without a doubt, I’ ll be racing,” says Pesz.“ I’ m going to come back out next Winter Series, and I’ ll have a plan to absolutely re-rotate the earth in December.”— CRAIG COOK DI
