WE MEET AGAIN

In a matchup that goes back more than 10 years, former PDRA Pro Nitrous rivals Jay Cox( far lane) and Jason Harris square off in the first round of eliminations at the World Series of Pro Mod. Cox was in just his third race behind the wheel of a boosted entry after converting his fan-favorite Butner Construction“ Pumpkin”’ 69 Camaro Pro Nitrous car to a twin-turbocharged combination. Harris, the two-time and reigning PDRA Pro Boost world champion with a pair of Pro Nitrous world titles to his name, was making his DI Winter Series return after missing the U. S. Street Nationals due to illness. After going red by. 006 to Cox in the first round at the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals, Harris got redemption when he made the second-quickest pass of the round, a 3.594, to get the win over Cox, who lifted to a 4.307. Harris went on to his second WSOPM semifinal in three years.
