OVER THE PAST DECADE, THE RED LINE OIL PDRA DRAG RACING SERIES HAS CONSISTENTLY SHOWN ITS COMMITMENT TO SUPPORTING THE NEXT GEN- ERATION OF RACERS. THE ALL-EIGHTH-MILE SERIES PROUDLY HOSTS TWO JR. DRAGSTER CATEGORIES— PARAGON PRO JR. DRAGSTER AND CLASSIC GRAPHIX TOP JR. DRAGSTER, BOTH PRESENTED BY PHILADELPHIA RACING PRODUCTS— WHICH SERVE AS A VALUABLE TRAINING GROUND FOR THE PDRA’ S FUTURE STARS. ¶ THIS SPRING, SEVERAL PDRA JR. DRAGSTER DRIVERS AND ALUMNI ALSO CELEBRATED ANOTHER MAJOR MILESTONE: GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL. CONTINUING A CHERISHED TRADITION, THE SERIES HONORED THESE GRADUATES WITH A SPECIAL PRE-RACE CEREMONY DURING THE BIGSTUFF TPM NORTH VS. SOUTH SHOOTOUT AT MARYLAND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY IN MID-JUNE. ZOE ASKEW
Zoe Askew, the daughter of longtime Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous crew member Doug Askew, graduated from Roanoke Rapids High School in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. Her dad, Doug, has long served as a crew member on Jay Cox’ s“ Pumpkin” Pro Nitrous car and now works with Cox on Marcus Butner’ s“ Heartbreaker” Pro Nitrous Camaro. Zoe became a certified pharmacy tech while in high school and will continue working in a local pharmacy and taking general courses at a community college while deciding her next step.

LYLA BUTCHER
Lyla Butcher, the daughter of reigning MagnaFuel Elite Top Sportsman presented by PAR Racing Engines world champion Glenn Butcher, graduated with honors from Chippewa Junior / Senior High School in Doylestown, Ohio. She currently helps out with the family race cars, which also include older brother Maximus’ s Super Comp dragster. Lyla recently received her Super Comp license from Frank Hawley’ s Drag Racing School and plans to start racing as well. In the fall, she’ ll attend Appalachia State University majoring in nutrition and dietetics.

LANDON CASHWELL
Landon Cashwell, a Pro Jr. Dragster driver, graduated from Pender High School in North Carolina. Racing out of the $ hameless Racing camp, Cashwell raced Pro Jr. Dragster while his father, Aaron, was the crew chief on Vinny Larosa’ s Pro 632 car and crewed on several cars in PDRA competition. He finished in the top 10 in 2022 PJD points and took runner-up
