Sherman Adcock has consistently proven he’ s one of the best racers in the NHRA’ s“ Super” classes, and he backed that up at the recent NHRA Southeast Division double divisional at South Georgia Motorsports Park near Valdosta, Georgia. Incredibly, Adcock and David Griffith made it to the final round in both races, each defeating five opponents on the way to each of those finals. Griffith went red in both finals, handing Adcock the 31st and 32nd NHRA LODRS Wallys of his career, which also includes two world championships and eight Division 2 titles. The double-up at SGMP propelled the Georgia resident to the Division 2 Super Gas points lead while also earning him the PEAK Performer title for this issue.
