NHRA Pro Stock world champions Greg Anderson and Jason Line— KB Racing teammates at the time— catch up with chassis builder Jerry Bickel in the shadow of the zMAX Dragway tower during a Pro Stock qualifying session at the inaugural NHRA Four-Wide Nationals. Though Bickel’ s Moscow Mills,
Missouri-based shop didn’ t construct the duo’ s Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac GXPs, Anderson and Line did previously source cars from Jerry Bickel Race Cars and they kept up with the prominent chassis builder. The day after this photo was taken, Line came up just. 036 seconds short of becoming the first Pro
Stock driver to win a four-wide event when he finished runner-up to Mike Edwards, who later won the NHRA world championship. In recent years, Line retired from Pro Stock competition after the 2020 season, Bickel passed away in 2023, and Anderson earned his sixth NHRA Pro Stock world championship in 2024.
