Nick Davies debuts his new“ No Quarter” AA / FA Fiat Topolino Altered in spectacular fashion during Santa Pod’ s Dragstalgia. The original steel body was acquired over 15 years ago, and ever since, he and his team had been planning the build. The project came together over four years, using the spare engine from“ Havoc,” the iconic Altered Davies has driven for years. The 417ci Donovan was complemented by AJPE billet heads, an early-1970s magnesium blower and injector, and a 2-speed transmission. The 1937 Fiat body still has working doors, sits on a 99-inch wheelbase, and features a 17-inch crankshaft centerline – making the car a real handful. The car stands as a tribute to the pioneers who first inspired the team, with the back proudly reading“ Standing on the Shoulders of Giants.”
