North Carolina’ s Farmington Dragway is winding down the 2025 season with another successful year, which represents its 62nd season of drag racing action.

Each new season at Farmington begins in late February with a two-day event that features a flea market and all-out test-and-tune. By March, the first of many big-money bracket racing opportunities were in full swing with a pair of DC $ 10K Foot Brake Madness events, which was a brand-new event for 2025. Fans also got their first taste of the popular 4.50 Mad Dawg series, as their season opener was held on the last weekend in March, along with the season kickoff of the WDRA-sanctioned bracket points races.

April ushered in some warmer weather and great racing action, which featured a huge weekend with Friday night motorcycle racing, street, and gambler races, along with test-and-tune. Saturday’ s action-packed day featured the second bracket points race of the season, along with the 4.90 Outlaws and the stick-shift club known as
the Classic Gear Jammers. A vintage swap meet, flea market, and auto fair closed out the month of April.
The brand-new K & J Promotions Big Money Top Bulb race occupied the track for the first three days of May, followed by the annual Piedmont Mopar Club“ Fun Run” race and show. Springpalooza Mad Dawg 4.50 and a Farm points race closed out the month of May.
The two-day Race Against Cancer kicked off June with several classes of competition represented. There’ s no bigger clutch car gathering than the Stick Shift Nationals, and it happens yearly here at Farmington. The 2025 season marked the 15th running of this spectacular event, which famously has never had a repeat main-event winner for the entire history of this event. Racers and fans alike travel great distances to be a part of the legendary Stick Shift Nationals.
While July’ s schedule was lighter on events, taking multiple weekends off, August came roaring back with a full slate of action-packed events, including Jerry and Norman’ s Legends of The Farm Weekend. Many other great events were on tap in August, including Stock and Super Stock
