Newly crowned PDRA Pro Boost world champion Ty Tutterow hikes up the front wheels in Justin Smith’ s screw-blown Quik Fuel’ 69 Camaro on his way to a 3.593-second pass in the first round of eliminations at the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals. The second-generation driver and tuner had the quickest screw-blown car in qualifying, ranking third in the record-setting field with a 3.572 at 208.39. But due to the random chip draw format, Tutterow ended up facing No. 5 qualifier Eric Gustafson in a battle of past NMCA Xtreme Pro Mod champions in the opening round. Gustafson won with a 3.577.
