MOUNTAIN MOTOR PRO STOCK TAKES

Mountain Motor Pro Stock racers Trevor Eman and Pete Berner perform side-by-side burnouts in front of the Maryland crowd as they compete in the Mountain Motor Nationals on a picturesque Saturday evening. The event, which also included the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association, was the second of five planned events for the Mountain Motor Pro Stock Association. The organization was formed in early 2010 in an effort to unify the class and keep it going after IHRA removed it from its roster at the end of the 2009 season. Mountain Motor Pro Stock has continued to experience ups and downs since this photo was taken as opportunities came and went, though the class is currently on an upswing back under the IHRA umbrella.
