GRINNING GREEN: Pro Mod racer turned Funny Car star Chad Green is all smiles as he folds his parachutes in the pits at Maryland International Raceway. Green entered the inaugural Potomac Nationals as the most recent winner on tour after earning his second win of the season at Chicago.
HOME TRACK HERO: NHRA on FOX lead broadcaster Brian Lohnes is right at home in the tower at New England Dragway during the NHRA New England Nationals. Along with announcing at Epping, Lohnes previously served as a tech inspector, race director, and track official at the historic facility early in his career.
LAYING DOWN THE CLAW: Past NHRA Top Fuel world champion Shawn Langdon talks with NHRA on FOX’ s Bruno Massel about winning the No. 1 Clawifier presented by NAPA award at the top end following his No. 1 qualifying run at the New England Nationals. Langdon’ s team also earned a lobster dinner for their efforts.
