The back-up girls, drivers, and race cars of the Southeast Gassers

Association lined up in the staging lanes to pose for an expansive group photo before the collection of over two dozen period-correct gassers took to the eighth mile at the renovated Darlington Dragway. Founded by former Pro Modified great Quain Stott, the series seeks to bring back everything that made 1960s-era gassers so exciting; wheels-up launches, open-face helmets, gear-banging four-speed transmissions, and of course, back-up girls. The series plans to take their throwback show to several southeast drag strips this season.
