Recently crowned 2016 NHRA Heritage Series Nitro Funny Car champion Kris Krabill heats up the Goodyear slicks on Bucky Austin and Mike O’ Brien’ s“ Northwest Hitter” 1978 Firebird flopper en route to a runner-up finish at the California Hot Rod Reunion. With Austin making the tuning calls, Krabill reached the winner’ s circle at the legendary Good Vibrations March Meet at Bakersfield and the 46th annual NAPA Igniter at Iowa’ s Firebird Raceway, easily clinching the season title before even rolling through the gates at the season-ending CHRR event.
