BRING ‘EM IN
Among the highlights at Keith Berry’s inaugural “Wooostock” event was this Friday-
night grudge race between the two quickest Radial vs. the World cars in the country.
Barry Mitchell (near lane) nabbed the slightest of holeshot advantages on Steve “Stevie
Fast” Jackson and maintained the lead in his supercharged ‘69 Camaro, posting a
3.758-second elapsed time at 199.03 mph to take the win. Jackson’s new-look “Shadow
2.0” 2014 Camaro recorded a 3.887 at 196.16 in the runner-up effort. The duo lined up
again in the final round on Saturday night, though it was Jackson charging ahead with
a world-record 3.717 over Mitchell’s 3.74, both at 198 mph. The Wooostock Radial vs.
the World final round was the quickest side-by-side pass in RVW class history.
