PETE FARBER SHOWED up
having made the long haul from
Boston, MA, ready to make his pres-
ence known at the first ever World
Series of Pro Mod. Farber made
ample test passes, dipping well into
the 5.90s and proving that he would
mean business come raceday. Unfor-
tunately after a much-talked-about
and celebrated first round matchup
with Colorado’s own Jim Whiteley,
Farber was headed back to the East
Coast. Farber, like many other rac-
ers, claimed he made monumental
strides with his racing program –
being forced to drill down and find
ways to go fast at serious altitude,
fighting for every horsepower.
