The schedule at Texas Motorplex in 2021 featured a bit of everything , with the highlights being the Funny Car Chaos event in the spring that drew more than 60 entries – an unbelievable feat in 2021 – and continued with the massive Stampede of Speed undertaking .
It was a first to the track and included a weeklong celebration of sport and entertainment , with
BRADENTON MOTORSPORTS PARK , SUMMIT MOTORSPORTS PARK , VIRGINIA MOTORSPORTS PARK , AND BANDIMERE SPEEDWAY
specialty races , concerts , and other entertainment leading into the NHRA national event that included increased payouts and a show heavy on the fanfare .
Several aspects of the Stampede of Speed drew rave reviews , leading to what is expected to be an even bigger production of it this September . It helped set a high bar for what a track can accomplish to stand out , innovate , and help push the sport forward , something that didn ’ t go unnoticed to those in the sport .
