Nitrous Pro Modified veteran Keith Haney launches off the starting line in his Brandon Switzer-tuned “ Black Mamba ” Camaro at the Shakedown Nationals , where Haney clicked off a series of passes in the 3.60-second range . Haney was one of the handful of Mid-West Drag Racing Series Pro Mod racers who traveled to Virginia to do battle with the East Coast ’ s best Pro Mod teams . Haney , who founded the series in 2017 , finished third in MWDRS Pro Mod points on the strength of a win and three runner-up finishes . Away from the dragstrip ,

Haney got married to his wife , Misty , and built a new home , while the team also moved into a brand-new race shop . The promising results of the 2021 season have Haney charged up for a championship bid this season .
